IT teams are managing more per employee than ever. Laptops, phones, SaaS licences, mobile subscriptions, compliance requirements. Gartner®'s 2026 Market Guide for Hardware Asset Management Tools makes it clear: tracking alone isn't enough anymore. You need a control layer. Velory is included as a Representative Vendor in that guide.
This edition: six releases across hardware, software, telecom, and access management.
- MDM upgrade - multi-tenant support and automated release flows
- Automatic device import from MDM and supplier invoices
- Mobile subscription management with eSIM ordering and termination
- Software & SaaS management in one view
- Company Tags in the Store
- Okta user provisioning
MDM upgrade: From one MDM instance to full fleet control
Most growing companies don’t run a single MDM. They run Intune for Windows and Jamf for macOS. Or separate instances for corporate laptops and shared devices. Until recently, Velory could only connect to one instance per provider - which meant manual workarounds or blind spots in your inventory.
That’s changed. Velory now supports multi-tenant MDM: connect as many instances as you need from a single account, even from the same provider. All devices appear in one unified hardware overview. And the automated release flows we previewed earlier this year are live - devices removed from MDM during offboarding, buyout, or return now trigger lifecycle updates automatically. No more chasing stale records.
- Multi-tenant MDM: one Velory account, all your MDM environments
- Works across Google, Jamf, Intune, Hexnode, and Kandji
- Automated device release when removed from MDM

Device Onboarding: From spreadsheet imports to a live system of record
For many IT teams, getting devices into the system is still a manual process. CSV uploads, copy-pasting serial numbers, creating records one by one. It works until it doesn’t - and at scale, it breaks fast.
Velory offers two automated paths. Connect your MDM and your device inventory is imported automatically, kept in sync, and users are assigned by name matching. Buying devices outside your integrated suppliers? Forward the invoice to a Velory-provided email address. Our AI extracts the hardware details and creates the records for you. Anything flagged lands in an admin review queue.
The result: a complete, trusted inventory without the manual effort.
- MDM device import with continuous background sync
- AI-powered invoice processing for external purchases
- Admin review workflows and Device Source filtering

Mobile Subscriptions Management: From scattered subscriptions to a structured telecom lifecycle
Here’s a pattern most IT teams recognize: someone leaves, the device comes back, but their mobile subscription keeps running for months. Nobody notices until the invoice lands. Subscriptions live in a separate portal, managed by a different team, with no connection to the device lifecycle.
We’ve expanded Velory’s mobile subscription capabilities with eSIM ordering and termination built directly into the platform. That means fewer portals, fewer forgotten lines, and subscriptions that follow the same structured lifecycle as your hardware. Visible, trackable, and tied to the right person.
- eSIM ordering and termination without leaving Velory
- Full subscription visibility alongside your device inventory
- Subscriptions follow the same lifecycle as your hardware

Software & SaaS Management: From manual license tracking to automated SaaS management
Hardware gets lifecycle governance. Software gets... a spreadsheet? For most companies, that’s still the reality. Unused seats pile up, ownership is unclear, renewals catch teams off guard. The cost of unmanaged SaaS is real - and it compounds.
We previewed Software Asset Management 2.0 earlier this year. Now it’s here. Register and track all your software licences in one place, assign owners and costs, and see exactly who has access to what. This is the foundation - more automation and deeper reporting capabilities will follow.
- Centralized software license registry with owner assignment
- Cost tracking and access visibility across your SaaS stack
- Built to extend - deeper automation and reporting coming next

Company Tags: Guide employees to the right products, faster
As companies scale their IT hardware catalogue, the Store becomes harder to navigate. Employees scroll through dozens of options, unsure which laptop is approved for their role or which accessories are part of the standard kit.
Company Tags solve this. Admins create custom labels - "Developer assets," "Marketing team," "Onboarding kit" - and apply them to products. Employees see the tags on product cards and can filter by them in the Store sidebar. You define the categories that make sense for your organisation. Velory makes them filterable.
- Custom tags created and managed by admins in Edit Store
- Employees filter by tag directly in the Store sidebar

New Integration: Okta user provisioning: sync your team directory automatically
For companies using Okta as their identity provider, managing user accounts across every tool is a recurring headache. New hires need to be set up manually. Leavers need to be tracked down and deactivated. The bigger the team, the more accounts slip through the cracks.
Velory now syncs users directly from Okta through SCIM provisioning. New hire added in Okta? They show up in Velory. Someone leaves? Their access is revoked automatically. No more manually creating user accounts or chasing deactivations.
- SCIM user provisioning - automatic create, update, and deactivate
