Product Updates
Jira Service Management Asset Integration
We’ve launched a new integration that syncs devices from Velory directly into Jira Service Management Assets. This keeps your asset data in Jira automatically up to date - without manual work or duplicate maintenance.
What’s included
- Newly purchased devices are added to JSM Assets automatically
- Asset records update when devices change owner
- Lifecycle events like buyouts and retirements are reflected in Jira in real time

Fresh new look for Asset Management navigation
New year, cleaner navigation. We’ve updated the Asset Management navigation to be more visual, more compact, and easier to scan. Sleeker look but also making more room for the data and insights that actually matter. This is rolled out gradually.
New HRIS integration: Deel
Our HRIS integration ecosystem keeps on growing. You can now connect Deel with Velory, which will automatically keep your employee data aligned and in sync - ensuring a smooth collaboration between HR and IT when someone joins, changes role or team, or leaves.
As with all our HRIS integrations, the connection works seamlessly in parallel with your Active Directory.
Head to Settings -> HR system sync to get started.

Coming soon: Automated release flows with MDM integrations
Soon, Velory will automate device release at end-of-lifecycle by leveraging your existing MDM integrations.
When a device is removed from MDM as part of a buyout, return, or offboarding flow, Velory will automatically detect it and update the device lifecycle accordingly. Devices that don’t meet approved criteria will be flagged for admin review, keeping you in control without manual double work.
Coming soon: Software asset management 2.0
This is something we know you have been waiting for. We are doing a real upgrade on our software asset management module. The first drop will let you take control of your software licences and usage by:
- Register and track all Software and licences in one place
- Assign owners, plans, and costs (bulk functionality included!)
- Manage who has access to what - with full visibility
