Nordic IT distributors reported record hardware quarters this spring. Sales are up double digits across the region, and the same reports warned of component shortages and higher unit prices through the rest of 2026.
Stretching the life of a device has always been a budget lever. What's changing is the weight of that lever. Every extra month a device stays in useful service is one less CapEx line you have to refresh, and the price tag waiting for you when you do refresh is going up.
This edition: three new connectors and a sneak peek at customised dashboards in the Velory portal.
New connected retailer: More choice in how you procure hardware
Most growing IT teams don't source from a single retailer. They split between regional distributors, global resellers, and direct manufacturer relationships, picking the supplier that fits the device, the price, or the geography. When one of those routes isn't available inside the tool you use to govern the lifecycle, you lose the audit trail the moment the order leaves Velory.
Markit is now a connected retailer in Velory. Through the integration, Markit's product catalog connects directly to your Velory account, giving you access to 5 million+ IT products across 50 countries inside your company's IT store. Devices purchased through Markit flow straight into your Velory asset inventory, picking up the same lifecycle workflows that already cover the rest of your estate, from provisioning through end-of-life.
- 5M+ IT products across 50 countries available inside your Velory store
- Product data, pricing, and availability sync automatically from Markit
- Devices purchased through Markit appear in your asset inventory from day one

New mobile subscription operator: Mobile subscriptions, now with Tele2
Mobile fleets are the part of the IT estate that most often slips out of the lifecycle. Subscriptions sit in a separate portal, run on a different renewal cadence, and stay with the operator long after the device gets returned. Nobody notices until the invoice lands.
Tele2 is now a connected mobile subscription operator inside Velory. Sync existing subscriptions to employee records, order new mobile subscriptions directly in Velory, and terminate them when employees leave. Full visibility, automated offboarding, and cost control across the subscription side of your mobile fleet.
- Sync existing Tele2 subscriptions with employee records
- Order new mobile subscriptions directly in Velory
- Terminate subscriptions automatically when employees leave

New HR integration: Simployer now connects to Velory
Most IT teams already pull user data from Active Directory or another identity source. That works once someone's in the door. The harder part is the run-up: the days before a new hire's first day, when the device needs to be configured, shipped, and ready before they have an AD account. Offboarding has its own version of the same gap, since the moment it actually begins is when HR sets an end date in the HR system, not days later when the AD account gets disabled.
Velory now supports Simployer as a connected HR system. With Simployer connected, onboarding runs smoother before day one, and offboarding kicks off the moment HR sets a termination date in Simployer. Sync employee data between Simployer and Velory to automate onboarding based on start dates, trigger pre-boarding using personal email addresses, and initiate offboarding with hardware returns, buyouts, or reassignment. The integration is available on request. If your team runs Simployer, contact support and we'll switch it on.
- Automate onboarding based on start dates from Simployer
- Trigger pre-boarding flows using personal email addresses
- Initiate offboarding using termination dates, with hardware returns, buyouts, or reassignment

Sneak peak
Coming soon: Dashboards built around your company, not the average company
Most IT teams already have a standard dashboard view of their fleet, with counts, assignments, and status all visible. That covers a lot of the ground IT needs to defend on a Monday morning. What's missing are the answers specific to how your company actually runs: depreciation curves shaped to your finance model, cost splits across countries unique to your footprint, the metrics your CFO actually wants.
Data Insights is the next layer on top, coming to the Velory portal. Customised dashboards built around the questions specific to your company, on top of the asset, user, supplier, and lifecycle data Velory already has. The first customised dashboards are in testing now.
