Can employees choose their own device before day one?
Yes. With Velory's self-service store, new hires can pick their preferred device from a company-approved catalog before their start date. The device is ordered, configured, and shipped directly to them - ready from day one.
How does Velory handle device returns when someone leaves?
Velory automates the offboarding device return. When a last day of employment is set, the employee sees a Return option on their device page and gets an email with return instructions. Depending on your company's policy, that could mean returning the device or buying it out. Velory supports both in-office and remote returns, and follows up automatically if devices aren't returned on time.
Does Velory support pre-day-one onboarding workflows?
Yes. Velory can trigger device procurement as soon as a hire is confirmed in your HRIS. The device is ordered, configured with the right MDM profile, and shipped - all before the employee's first day. IT doesn't need to do anything manually.
