1. How many days per week do you prefer to work from home and why?

Zero - I get energy from going to the office and meeting people face-to-face.

2. What is a hidden treasure among apps for you — a favorite application of yours that might be unknown to many?

I’m using Athlytic to track my holistic health and well-being level. It’s good but I wish there would exist something even better. It’s very fragmented today. Being a cyclist, I use Strava of course but that’s just one part of the puzzle and so far I’ve not seen anything better than Athlytic.

3. Any tips on how to use AI in daily life or work? What is your company policy around it?

In my job as an investor, I use Gemini every day to learn about all kinds of stuff from market sizes, competitive landscapes, new technologies and much more. I’m also on the advisory board of Northstar IA that develops an AI-based platform for VCs. Our policy is to use AI where we can if that makes us better and more effective.

4. What's your most important work tool, making you productive?

I’d be nothing without my to-do list! I use Apple’s own Reminders. Don’t need anything fancy - it has everything I need and it seamlessly syncs between all my devices.

5. What career tips would you give your younger self?

Follow your passion. If you’re really good at something opportunities naturally arise.

6. What is your view on employee choice, i.e. flexibility for employees to choose their hardware and software?

Employee choice in general is good but when it comes to hardware and software there are benefits of keeping it the same.

7. What is an ideal new employee onboarding experience?

It depends on the position but I think the cultural part is just as important as the “technical” with systems and processes. I am personally a big fan of mission-driven companies and like to make that core of the onboarding (and it should also be an integral part of the hiring process).
