About Slack
Slack is the messaging app your team uses for channels, threads and the quick questions that never make it into a ticket.
What this integration does for you
Answers where the question gets asked. When someone in a channel asks who has the spare MacBook or when a licence renews, they @mention Velory and the assistant replies in the thread. The conversation doesn't have to move to another tab.
The same permissions as in Velory. The assistant answers as the person who mentioned it, so people only see what their own Velory login would show them.
Questions in Slack, changes in Velory. In Slack, the assistant looks things up and answers. Assigning, ordering and offboarding still happen in Velory.
Get started
An admin opens the integrations marketplace in Velory, chooses Slack and clicks Add to Slack. Each person links their Slack account to Velory the first time they mention it. You'll need permission to install apps in your Slack workspace.

No. In Slack it looks things up and answers, and any change is made in Velory itself.
