About Android Enterprise
Android Enterprise is Google's program for using Android at work. With zero-touch enrollment, phones and tablets set themselves up with your company's apps and security settings as soon as they're switched on. Your device reseller registers each device to your zero-touch account when you buy it, so that account holds an accurate list of the Android devices your company owns.
What this integration does for you
A list of company phones you can rely on. Only a reseller can add a device to zero-touch, so everything Velory imports from it belongs to your company. Employees' personal phones stay out of your hardware inventory.
You approve what comes in. New devices arrive for review first. You check them and confirm before they become assets, so the first sync doesn't fill your inventory with surprises.
Android in the same IT lifecycle as everything else. Once imported, a phone is assigned, tracked, collected at offboarding and retired the same way as your laptops and other IT assets.
Get started
Open the integrations marketplace in Velory, choose Android Enterprise and sign in with a Google account that has access to your zero-touch portal. Viewer access is enough. If that account belongs to more than one zero-touch account, you pick the one to connect. Velory syncs every hour and only reads from zero-touch.
Data availability
Once connected, devices are imported with:
- Serial number
- Manufacturer
- Model
FAQ
Does Velory integrate with Android Enterprise?
Yes. Velory connects to Android zero-touch enrollment and imports every company-owned Android device registered to your account, every hour.
What do I need before I connect?
A zero-touch account set up by your device reseller, a Google account that's a user on the zero-touch portal, and the zero-touch terms of service accepted by an account owner.
Does Velory change anything in zero-touch?
No. Velory only reads your device list. Google's sign-in screen asks for permission to manage devices because zero-touch has no read-only option, but Velory never uses it.
