ServeYou’s mission has always been to become the most comprehensive IT and mobile communications partner to its customers. Initially, for lack of ideal software solutions, the team went to great lengths to help their customers create sustainable and efficient IT processes. This goal required manual work on spreadsheets and countless touchpoints with multiple IT vendors to enable everything from device procurement to take-back programs for the devices’ end of lifecycle.
The outcome

Asset management was largely manual, relying on spreadsheets, and ad hoc procedures for ordering and deploying devices. This led to issues such as lack of transparency regarding equipment tracking and lifecycle status. Not to mention the time spent on all these administrative tasks.

When one of ServeYou’s customers hired a new employee, the onboarding process was slow and cumbersome. New hires were manually added to spreadsheets, and the hiring manager had to communicate hardware requirements to ServeYou. ServeYou then placed and tracked the order, ensuring the new hardware was also logged in spreadsheets—an error-prone workflow.

With Velory, ServeYou now helps its customers onboard new employees far more efficiently. Velory integrates seamlessly with leading HR and User Directory systems. When a new employee’s profile is created, it automatically syncs with Velory. The new hire is invited to select their devices directly within Velory, adhering to the employer’s predefined budget and catalog.

As businesses grow, their IT setups often become increasingly complex. ServeYou’s customers typically relied on multiple vendors for various solutions, such as mobile subscriptions, PBX systems, computers, and mobile devices. ServeYou served as the trusted partner piecing together this fragmented puzzle, a process that required significant coordination.

With Velory, ServeYou simplifies procurement and deployment for its customers. Through Velory’s storefront, customers access and chooses all the solutions they need in one place. ServeYou also uses Velory’s bundling feature to enhance convenience. For instance, when an employee selects a phone, it comes pre-packaged with essentials like screen protection and a phone case.
The final last milestone for circular IT: refurbished devices
Before Velory
Offering refurbished devices has been a key goal for ServeYou, but it did not come without its challenges. Most businesses viewed refurbished devices as risky and complex due to the lack of solutions to enhance security.
After Velory
When a customer receives a refurbished device from ServeYou, it's already integrated into Apple's Business Manager account and enrolled in the MDM. Because Velory is integrated with multiple MDM systems, customers can verify this security status themselves.
Coupled with full warranties and performance equivalent to new devices, ServeYou's refurbished devices offer a cost-effective and sustainable procurement solution that meets the growing demand for eco-friendly IT.
